A lovely commemorative collection, this folder combines a 50 year old tribute coin with a modern minting innovation: Together as one, it forms a marvellous remembrance to the life of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Issued in 1977 for the Jubilee of Accession, the UK 25p Crown features Her Majesty on horseback, as seemingly became tradition for all Jubilee tribute crowns during Her reign.
On the facing panel, of this four-panel folder, the wonderful 'Shield configuration of the circulating UK currency, first introduced in 2008, set in blister, allowing obvious viewing of this clever set of designs (random dates supplied).
With all coins in Uncirculated condition the value here is obvious. However, this high quality folder also contains information about both QEII's appearance on currency around the world, as well as details on the Royal Coat of Arms.
