First issued in 1993, the Royal Australian Mint's silver Kangaroo series has been bounding along strongly ever since. Hopping through several different design types and themes, the Kangaroo series has leapt past the age of 30 and continues on in 2026!
This year, as the Mint celebrates 60 years of Decimal Currency, they have done the unthinkable - added an extra 'Roo to the original circulating dollar design - then blown it up to fit a 40mm, one ounce, 99.9% pure silver coin!
The Mob of 6 'Roos is unique to 2026 and will likely never be repeated. Besides that though, at 40mm, its simply a glorious Australian silver coin!!
