Inspired by the proliferation of Street Art across the nation, the Royal Mint of Belgium issue this 2½ euro coin in collaboration with one of Belgium's best-known street artists, Bue the Warrior. Both the coin design and the packaging are by his hand!
The obverse of the coin shows a happy little bird that, like the text ‘Streetart’, was just created with the spray can that also appears. The little bird appears more often in the works of Bue the Warrior and is thus Bue's signature, with his name added at the bottom right.
