First published in 1989, Edward the Emu retains a special place in the heart of many Australians - both those who grew up with it, and those who told it to their own kids. As part of their ongoing annual book series, the Royal Australian Mint chose to honour Edward the Emu in its 35th anniversary year. As such, the mint created a special edition book, bearing an Australian 20c Collector coin set into the cover of the very book it celebrates.
