Issued in 1994 to commemorate the 10th anniversary since the changeover between the $1 paper banknote and the new Mob of 'Roos $1 coin, the Decade dollar features a stylistic transitional design of the old note transforming into the new $1 coin.
Because it was available from the Mint for all of 1994, this coin also bears a 'C' for Canberra mintmark.
Housed in the original pack of issue, these near-30 year old coins do show colouring due to their age, as does the pack. But all remain in uncirculated condition.
