One for the aerophiles out there and, of course, lovers of simply cool stuff, this official 50p silver coin form The Royal Mint commemorates the RAF's Aerobatic team, the Red Arrows. Teaming ridiculously skilled pilots with exciting jet planes, the Red Arrows have performed nearly 5,000 displays in 57 countries since 1964.
Each coin bears a full colour design of the Red Arrows’ distinctive BAE Systems Hawk T1 aircraft together with the smoke used in the team’s aerial displays - depicted in red, white and blue!
Available here as a double thickness, Piedfort , silver proof coin, housed in typically informative Royal Mint packaging.
