Beginning what is sure to be a wonderful series, this UK Collector coin from The Royal Mint helps celebrate what would have been HRH Queen Elizabeth II's 100th birthday year in 2026. And it does so by going all the way back to the 1950's and showcases the very first portrait of Her Highness to ever appear on coinage.
Designed by Mary Gillick and portraying a young Queen, having just ascended to the Throne, this effigy also appeared on early Australian QEII coins up until the Decimal Changeover in 1966.
Struck from 28.28 grams of Sterling silver, this official Royal Mint UK commemorative, collectable coin is restricted to an issue limit of just 4,000!
Delivery expected to begin mid-October 2026.
