From its instantly recognisable visage to the myriad of action-packed scenes in which it appears, the X-Wing remains an integral part of Star Wars folklore to this day.
The third release in The Royal Mint’s four-coin collection inspired by the most iconic vehicles in the Star Wars franchise, the X-Wing 2024 UK Coin features a detailed image of the X-Wing in mid-flight as if during combat. The design also includes a lenticular feature that interchangeably displays the crest of the Rebel Alliance ‘Starbird’ and a silhouette of the X-Wing.
Struck from 8 grams of sterling silver, each of these full colour, official Royal Mint UK commemorative, collectable coins is part of a limited mintage of just 7500.
