Considered to be Italy's most successful designer, Giorgio Armani's name alone implies premium quality, style, and high fashion. Anything bearing his mark can be considered to be of the utmost prestige and is highly coveted. Amazing then, in a huge local coup, the Italian Mint secured that mark and produced this impressive 3-coin silver set.
On the reverse of each of the three coins, one of Armani's original sketches for his 1975 core release, clearly showing the genius even in those early years. On the obverse of all three, the Giorgio Armani seal, selectively plated in gold.
Minted from sterling silver, only 7,000 of this special issue were produced, with few making it out of Italy.
