An old British coin, the angel is one of the most fascinating coins in numismatic history. Deriving its name from the original design of the Archangel Michael battling Satan in the form of a dragon, the gold coin was first issued under Edward IV in the 1400s. Whilst minting of the angel originally ended in the mid seventeenth century, The Royal Mint in 2026 has created a modern reimagining of the classic coin.
Available here in Brilliant Uncirculated quality, each coin is presented in typical high quality and informative Royal Mint packaging.
