An Irish blues and rock artist, songwriter and bandleader purchased a 1961 Fender Stratocaster at age 15, which then became his primary instrument for the rest of his life. Selling over 30 million records worldwide, Gallagher died in London of complications from a liver transplant, aged just 47. 2018 was the 70th anniversary of Gallagher's birth.
Struck from an imperial ounce (28.28g) of sterling silver, each Rory Gallagher coin is housed in a case with numbered certificate of authenticity.
