Slighted by the King when not invited to the christening of Princess Aurora, Maleficent curses the young royal to die from a pin prick upon her 16th birthday. Alas, the curse is near successful, with Aurora falling into a deep sleep, becoming the titular Sleeping Beauty.
Only the most charming can awake the princess and, in fact, this coin might have done the deed! Minted with ornate borders and a mirror-finish background, each charming 54mm coin also possesses a purple gemstone and oil-colour-print.
