Khufu, best known by his Greek name Cheops, was the 2nd pharaoh of the 4th Dynasty, ruling during the 3rd millennium BC. He began work on the Great Pyramid of Giza almost immediately after assuming the throne and it is him that we can consider as creator of one of the Ancient Wonders of the World.
