A surprise release in mid-2023 from The Perth Mint, a coloured version of their Wedge Tailed Eagle coin emerged... and was quickly sold out. Whilst only 1,000 were minted, it seems that only around 100 were kept in Australia. The remaining 900 were shipped overseas!
Luckily, a small group of that 900 are returning to Australia! Better yet, they have been independently graded by NGC as MS70 (Mint condition!), slabbed, and certified to be First Release - meaning they were among the first struck by the mint!
But wait! The certifying label with each coin was also personally signed by the legendary John M. Mercanti, the U.S. Mint’s 12th Chief Engraver!
A special coin, made even more special by its presentation - do not hesitate on this one, as there will not be any more available again. Ever.
