The fourth and final coin in The Royal Mint's Innovations in Science 50p series, the 2022 edition features the brilliant mathematician, Alan Turing. Aside from his many ground-breaking theories. Turing's efforts in codebreaking are thought have greatly shortened the length of Word War II. Posthumously, Turing has also become an important - but tragic - name in the fight for human rights.
The Royal Mint celebrates this great man with a collectable 50p coin, featuring elements of codebreaking.
Available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, housed in typically informative Royal Mint packaging.
Due in stock early August 2022
