Imagine the scene, one day in March 1974 a handful of Chinese farmers were digging a well to help feed their crops when they unearthed the first Warrior out of a total of 8,000 soldiers, 130 chariots with 520 horses, and 150 cavalry horses, all made out of terracotta and buried underground for more than 2,000 years!
This ancient tribute to the first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang, is one of the largest and most important archaeological site ever discovered. And one of the most incredible! As such, the wizards at Coin Invest Trust commemorate this historical site with a tremendous, high relief design. Available in three different versions - CLICK HERE to see them all - the coin available here is the massive three ounce silver issue. Struck on a thick 45mm blank, the extra metal has all been channelled into the relief of the Terracotta Warriors and the result is stunning.
