Regular price $4.95 Sale

In 1908, Australia’s Commonwealth Parliament passed an act that, effectively, created Australia’s first Age Pension system. In July 1909, just over 65,000 older age Australians received a pension. One hundred years later, in 2009, the nation’s official mint, the Royal Australian Mint was tasked with issuing a celebratory coin of the Centenary of Aged Pension.

This is that coin.

Bearing a heart-warming design of an older couple together with several younger generations around them, each of the coins available here have been taken direct from official mint rolls issued in 2009. All ate thus guaranteed to be in mint condition.
