A very special coin in global coin collecting, this Canadian quarter was the FIRST EVER coloured circulating coin!!! The granddaddy of the hugely popular Australian coloured $2 coins, the Canadian quarter's roots are the same, thematically. Issued way back in 2004 to commemorate those that made the ultimate sacrifice in World War I, the coloured portion of the design is, appropriately, a red poppy.
Each Mint condition Canadian quarter coin will be packed in a PVC-free SAFLIP.
