Regular price $25.00 Sale

Held in Australia in late 2003 the Rugby World Cup of that year was won by pre-tournament favourites England after a late drop-goal in the final against Australia. Whilst Australian fans were understandably devastated, the English Lions became the first ever Northern Hemisphere nation to hold the Webb-Ellis Cup aloft.

Struck and issued by the Royal Australian Mint to honour the 2003 competition, this is the official Rugby World Cup collector coin of the event. Struck on aluminium bronze and issued in a collector pack, this 15+ year old collector coin, ironically, features a player having a shot on goal!
