Just like the regular Wedge Tailed Eagle coin but with one difference - Its struck in REVERSE Proof! Instead of the main motif appearing in a frosted finish, the Eagle is bright and shiny! The background, conversely, is frosted and matte. Not satisfied there, The Perth Mint has also struck it using its well-known high-relief style!
And finally, the feathers, have all been enhanced with a range of different finishes. Some parts of the eagle are a raised bright finish, and other parts a raised ‘glass’ finish. The resulting coin is jaw-droppingly beautiful.
